- The Drinks List -

We list a range of characterful draft beers such as:

Adnams Southwold Bitter : 4.1% , A copper-coloured bitter with East Anglian malt and emboldened by the late addition of herbal Fuggles, as well as full of genuine character. A palate of biscuity malts and light, caramelised toffee notes with a balance of its classic English hop character, added later on in the brewing process, to create a long, lingering, resinous finish on the palate.

Adnams Ghostship: 4.5% : Is brewed with a Pale Ale, Rye Crystal and Cara Malts which add depth and moreish, biscuity hints. A blend of Citra and American and UK hop varieties provide Ghost Ship’s bold citrus flavours of lemon and lime, aromatic elderflower notes, and that wonderful hoppy finish.

Adnams Dry Hopped Larger 4.2% : Is brewed with pale malts and Australian Galaxy hops for their bright, tropical fruit flavours, especially when used as a late addition. Bold, bright and crisp, notes of peach and a subtle citrus bitterness.

Schneider's Bayrisch Hell 4.9% : As pristine, characteristic and pure as its homeland, Southern Bavaria. Brewed with 100% Bavarian ingredients and handcrafted in the traditional method - by the sixth generation of the Schneider brewers family. Its straw-yellow colour is as impressive as its balanced, refreshing and highly drinkable aroma with a subtle malty body and flowery hop aromas.

Adnams Ease Up 4.6% : Ease Up is a golden session IPA with wonderful citrus flavours thanks to a stellar cast of bright, aromatic hops. Following calls to add a gluten free beer to the Adnams range, we’ve tweaked the process when brewing it, making its big-hitting more accessible. It still has that same great grapefruit flavour, but it’s now also gluten free. Ease Up’s flavour is mainly driven by the hops. On the palate, you’ll find resinous flavours of pine, and fruity notes of peach and melon, followed by pithy grapefruit on the finish.

Adnams Innovation 6.7% : Innovation IPA is light, deceptively strong, and perfectly balanced, thanks to the use of wheat in its recipe. It was originally brewed as a celebration beer and was launched in 2010 on completion of the installation of Adnams new brewery, after a period of considerable investment in sustainable technology across the company. These projects are reflected in the beer’s name, its style and in its recipe. The initial assertive hoppiness delivers big flavours of grapefruit and mango, which are quickly balanced by a subtle, honeyed sweetness, and a caramelised, almost chewy finish. Delicious and fruity, you’ll find underlying hints of spice as its light base allows Adnams’ house yeast characteristics to shine through.

Adnams Blackshore Stout 4.2% : Blackshore is a smooth, easy-drinking stout, named after the black-tarred fishing huts that line Southwold's harbour. They are individual, characterful and made of sturdy stuff. It is brewed with a hefty mash bill for a rich, broad malt character. You’ll find Pale Ale, Brown, Double Roasted Crystal, and Chocolate malts, alongside Roasted Barley and a hearty helping of oats. Brimming with dark malt flavours of coffee, chocolate, and liquorice, thanks to a generous gesture with the grains. Using oats adds a smoothness and this, coupled with a light hop character, make it easy drinking and exceptionally moreish.

Adnams Ghostship 0.5% : Enjoy whispers of aromatic elderflower, bold citrus and gooseberry flavours, and hints of warming rye spice. It's the ideal option for spontaneous plans, offering refreshment whenever.

Adnams Wild Wave 5%: A high juice, full-bodied, cider with a refreshing balance thanks to its unique blend of bittersweet and dessert apples. Inspired by a walk on Southwold beach, the vision was to create a premium cider made entirely from English apples, with a taste so fresh and fruity, it would feel like a refreshing splash in the face.
