Curry Night

Friday 15th December

£16.50pp includes a selection of main dishes, dhal, raita, Peshwari naan, Sophie's extremely hot chilli sauce!

 Boxing Day

      Food served throughout the day. Last orders at 5.45pm

Wednesday 27th December, 
Pizza & family quiz

Hand-crafted pizzas from our wood-fired oven from 5pm followed by a quiz for all the family at 6:30pm in our heated marquee.

Storytelling Evening

Friday 29th December 

Similar to "The Moth True Stories Told Live" style of storytelling, we are hosting our own free event.

Our compere for the evening is our good friend, Libby Purves. Already signed up to speak are former Cold War fighter pilot Nigel Walpole; Astrid & Denis King;  broadcaster Emma Freud and others.

Wood-fired pizzas served from 4pm, talks begin 6pm and each one lasts approx 10 minutes. 

 New Year's Eve

 Family-seating 6-8pm

 For the little ones that cannot make it through to midnight!  Roasted free-range Sutton Hoo chicken, all the trimmings followed by pudding finishing with Luke's fireworks at 8pm.

 £22 per adult, £12.50 per child under 10yo (£10 deposit per adult secures your place)

 Festive four course dinner with dancing by 'Suffolk All Stars' & fireworks

 £65 per person

Select from our pre-choice menu, join in the dancing followed by Luke's fireworks at midnight.

Seating in the main building as well as the heated marquee, party-style seating.

      Reservations between 8:30-9:30pm (£10 deposit per adult secures your place)


 Open to non-residents. Serving from 8:30-10am, price includes filtered coffee or tea.

Hire our Flint Barn

Family gathering without the clean up. We can accommodate up to 28 people for a sit-down meal.  Work with Sophie to create a special menu.

 On May 3rd we welcomed Mitch Steel from Stone Brewing, San Diego along with Tim from Greenjack Brewery, the brewing boys from Adnams to meet James McCrorie who founded The Craft Brewing Association. They sampled an historic 1860 recipe IPA Edinburgh Ale and talked all things beer!
